Hovingham’s Repair Café is part of the International Repair Café network. 

Residents can bring items needing repair, promoting reuse instead of going to landfill.

Attendees watch and learn how their item is being repaired. Our volunteer team repair, free of charge, items including electrical, household, digital, jewellery, furniture, bikes and clothing. 

The Repair Café operates 4 times a year, (see calendar) focusing on sharing skills to extend the life of items.

Its also a great place to meet new people and enjoy a cup of coffee and cake!
